Doing the Impossible

“It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.” Walt Disney

I shared this amazing quote by Disney this past week on Twitter.  If you’re interested in learning more about Walt Disney, I’m featuring him this Thursday on my Facebook page.

Not only was Walt Disney a creative mind, he had a great attitude too!  This quote reveals the spirit of Disney.  People all around the world are doing the impossible every day.  They are completing the Ironman races in record time.  They are serving others around the world like Mother Teresa did.  They are starting and succeeding at businesses despite what stock markets and banks say.  They are overcoming addictions, challenges, and achieving their goals.  What drives them is exactly what drove Walt Disney.

Some people are driven by the desire to prove others wrong, others are driven by the desire to break records, and still others are driven by the need to win.  Yet, some are driven by a desire to make the world a better place.  Doing the impossible like curing AIDS, cancer or some other deadly disease drives people every day.

My message to you today is simple. Whether you are looking to conquer a big disease, or simply make it through the day, don’t let the word ‘impossible’ stop you.  If you regard each day as a new opportunity to help and love others, and to live your life, impossible is simply not a word that needs to be in your vocabulary.  Instead of worrying about what seems like impossibilities, work on the possibilities to make it happen.

Share one “impossible” opportunity in your life, and the first possibility toward achieving it below!
