This month we’re talking about forgiveness. Let’s see what the Bible has to say about forgiveness:
“Even if we feel guilty, God is greater than our feelings, and he knows everything.” 1 John 3:20
“If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you.” Matthew 6:14
“He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.” Colossians 2:14
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32
“If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them.” Luke 17:3b
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord…” Acts 3:19
