“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; yes, wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27:14
This is a hard verse to discuss to begin our month-long conversation on faith. Yet, it’s an important one. One of the key aspects of faith is being able to wait for what you’re believing in. After all, if you can’t wait, where’s the faith?
The Psalmist, David, actually finds encouragement in this waiting period, he feels strengthened knowing that in this waiting time God is lining things up to happen in a certain and specific way that is not only best for you but best for your faith.
It’s never easy to wait for God to work, especially if we’re feeling weak or vulnerable, yet David calls us to muster up the strength we have left and make another effort to wait one more hour, one more day, one more week, until it’s time for your faith to be proven.
What do you do when the waiting becomes difficult?
