The Search for Trust

This month our discussions have been about trust. At the end of the month I don’t feel as confident as I usually do that the world is a better, more trusting, place.  Sometimes though transitions and evolutions take a while.  That’s often how it is with things we’re praying about.  But there is hope-check out Matthew 7:7-8:

“Continue to ask, and God will give to you. Continue to search, and you will find. Continue to knock, and the door will open for you. Yes, whoever continues to ask will receive. Whoever continues to look will find. And whoever continues to knock will have the door opened for them.”

These words are spoken by Jesus to a large crowd of people who gathered to hear him teach.  This crowd of people is probably much like a group of us would be today-with broken relationships, struggling spirituality, jobs, businesses, good days and bad days.  His message is as important to them as they should be to us: don’t give up!  I’m a big believer that there is always hope-things may have to change for us to find that hope or have it show up in our lives, but there are tons of doors that can open for you in your life.

What are you praying about and waiting for today?  Share it below so we can pray with you too!
